Biography

Frej Mighri is Full Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Université Laval, and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). D. in chemical engineering, he joined the Industrial Materials Institute, IMI, National Research Council Canada (Boucherville, QC), as a research officer (1998-2003). In 2003, he joined Université Laval, where he currently holds the position of full professor. He is deeply involved in research, with a particular interest in the development of functional polymer nanocomposites. He was Director of the Certificate Program in Plastics Engineering (2005-2009) and Director of the Graduate Programs in Chemical Engineering (2010-2014). Since 2006, he has been a board member of CREPEC, the Centre de recherche sur les systèmes polymères et composites à haute performance, a strategic inter-university grouping in Quebec.
